Backflow compliance matters.
When backflow testing is required, compliance is not optional. The process surrounding it should be easier to navigate.
The process can be better.
Backflow testing protects drinking water, supports public health, and helps property owners remain compliant.
Yet the process surrounding compliance can still feel fragmented.
Finding a qualified tester. Understanding what a test should cost. Comparing availability. Knowing whether a notice is legitimate. Getting everything completed before a deadline.
BackFlowRates.com was built to make that experience easier to navigate.
One year in.
BackFlowRates.com is still early, but the marketplace is already being discovered, used, and tested by the industry.
Built for the industry. Found organically.
BackFlowRates.com opened in August 2025 as a marketplace built specifically for backflow testing, repairs, and installations.
Vendors can create service listings across the areas they serve. Property owners can search, compare, and request service online. Public Water Systems have another place to share compliance information and resources.
During its first year, without Google Ads, BackFlowRates.com generated more than 150,000 organic Google impressions and over 1,000 clicks.
Searches have ranged from backflow testing costs and pricing to local testers, failed tests, compliance questions, and the business of backflow itself.
The marketplace is still growing. Coverage is still growing. But the signal is there.
Support a better backflow marketplace.
BackFlowRates.com is currently free for vendors. Voluntary support helps fund the continued operation, maintenance, and development of the marketplace.
Help keep the grid moving.
BackFlowRates.com was built to give property owners, backflow testers, and the industry another way to navigate backflow compliance.
Keeping the marketplace operating requires continued investment in platform costs, maintenance, development, and outreach.
Support is completely voluntary. Vendors are not required to contribute, and financial support does not affect marketplace access, listings, visibility, or placement.
If you believe a more transparent and accessible backflow marketplace deserves to keep growing, you can help support what we're building.
BackFlowRates.com is a for-profit business. Contributions are not charitable donations and are not tax-deductible.
